Zero Waste Bathroom Towel

With a family of 4, we have only 4 towels in our bathroom.

Japanese towel is traditionally thin and lightweight. It dries quickly! (It is perfect for drying naturally on a clothesline.) It is thin, which makes it all the more amazing for how much water it absorbs. Very absorbent yet quick to dry. It takes up less space in your linen closet. It is ideal for a tiny house or small bathroom. It is made with cotton. Seems thin, but ever so soft to the touch.

It is an awesome bath towel for baby, too. It is big enough to wrap around. ( Mine is 66 x 114 cm )

At first, you will take a couple of days to get used to this towel after using a thicker luxury towel for years. This towel is so much lighter and the real benefits show after a few showers.

I have switched to smaller and thinner towels too. Easy to wash and dry. 🙂

What is the japanese name of the bigger towels? I found tenugui, but they are just 30×90 to 35x90cm. Thank you 🙂
